Doug is with Johnson & Fletcher Insurance in Gainesville and is a former Gator and NFL quarterback. He resides with his wife and children in Melrose. Doug founded RFK to repay the Boys and Girls Club for being there in his youth. |
Keith Blanchard
As President and Chief Professional Officer of The Boys & Girls Club of Alachua County, Keith has been on the Board since Reeling for Kids started. He resides in Gainesville with his wife Vera and daughter Monique.

Laura Javidi
Laura is Director, Development and Special Events for the Boys & Girls Club of Alachua County. She has been with the tournament since 2006 and resides in Newberry with her daughters Mina and Ari. |
Capt. Wiley Horton
Wiley works for AT&T in sales and operates Tuner Sportfishing Charters. Wiley is a founding member and serves as director for rules and fishing operations of the tournament. He resides in Gainesville with his wife Doris.

Ed Newmans
Ed is the owner of Newmans Heating & Cooling in Gainesville. He has been with the tournament since the beginning and serves as tournament weigh master. Ed resides in Gainesville with his wife Barbie and family. |
Tara Johnson
Tara has been with the tournament since the beginning, helping to grow RFK to what it is today. Tara coordinates the pre-tournament party and auction event at the Touchdown Terrace. She resides in Melrose with Doug and their children.

Domenic Scorpio
Domenic is Principal and Chief Operating Officer for PPI Construction Management. Originally and still a tournament participant, he now directs sponsorship efforts for RFK. Domenic resides in Gainesville with his wife Holly and family.

Beau Crevasse
From Gainesville, Beau is the owner of Crevasse’s Pet Funeral Home and also operates Crevasse’s Regency Florist with his wife Christen. Beau has been here since the beginning, lending his expertise in numerous areas including event catering and running the docks during the event.

Tim Orwig
Tim has been part of the team since 2007 and assists with media relations for the tournament, coordinates the website as well as works the docks. He is the General Manager at Dacasso and resides in Gainesville with his wife Dianne. |
Karen Thomas
From Gainesville, Karen works at Forest Meadows Funeral Home and Crematory. Another tournament participant who joined the Board in 2010, Karen and her husband Jon have fished the event for many years.

Brittany H. Lee
Brittany is Vice President of Florida Blue Farms, Inc. as well as a sales representative for Florida Woodland Group, Inc. She resides in Gainesville and won the Spanish Mackerel category in 2010. Brittany joined the Board in 2010. |
Jon C. Thomas II
From Gainesville, Jon is with Forest Meadows Funeral Home and Crematory. Jon is active in numerous community activities. He joined the Board in 2010 and resides in Gainesville with his wife Karen.
